YouTube Kids is an app that provides a child-oriented version of YouTube, with carefully selected content, parental control functionality and filtering of videos deemed inappropriate for children under 12 years of age.

You can download the application on iPhone, iPad and Android devices, free of charge from the respective digital stores.

The app is divided into five content categories:
and includes parental control settings that allow parents to set time limits and limit users’ access to the search tool.

How does it work:
YouTube asks the parent to type in their birth year and then presents the contents of YouTube Kids.
Once the child has watched some videos, the app will begin to suggest suitable and related videos on the home screen
After creating the child’s profile, you can decide whether to activate or deactivate the search, thus controlling the possibility of the children to search for new videos of interest among the millions available in the app, or whether to limit themselves to the channels verified by YouTube Kids.
