After the great success of Martin Parr‘s photographic exhibition, Life’s a Beach, Sirmione continues to celebrate the beaches, summer and seaside culture with an unmissable event: Bands on the Beach, 5 concerts dedicated to the lively sounds of rockabilly, swing, surf and rock ‘n’ roll.
The beaches are the natural stage for these musical genres that have marked an era and, just like the photographs of Martin Parr, they know how to capture the liveliness and spontaneity of seaside life, evoking images of parties, dances and the desire to live that over the years The ’50s and ’60s have never gone out of fashion to this day.
