The town of Sirmione and its surrounding area is renowned for its vineyards, which grow thanks to the gentle hilly landscape, clay soil and Lake Garda’s micro-climate, producing various refined wines.
The area of Lugana di Sirmione is at the heart of the production of the fine white wine of the same name “Lugana”.
The renowned red wines of Lake Garda are all around, such as the Groppello bresciano from Valtenesi and Bardolino wine cultivated around the city of Verona, as well as the ‘wine of one night’, namely the Chiaretto bresciano from Valtenesi, and the Chiaretto of Bardolino.
