Save Lives. Clean your hands
Since 2005, the World Health Organization (WHO) has been promoting World Handwashing Day on May 5 to commemorate the importance of this simple but essential gesture in the prevention of communicable infections.
The message is SAVE LIVES: Clean Your Hands
In particular, in this period it is crucial to wash your hands properly, at home, in places of care, in the community or at work, to reduce the possibility of transmission of infections and to guarantee hand hygiene, just the common soap and it is important to rub your hands for at least 40-60 seconds.
