There is an immense treasure: over 70 thousand archive videos from the ’10s to today and 400 thousand photographs in good definition.

It is the Historical Archive portal and in this period in which for the emergency of the coronavirus it is necessary to stay in the house is the occasion to know and appreciate it.

Also in this way the Istituto Luce Cinecittà fully adheres to the widespread national campaign #IoRestoaCasa, promoted by Mibact, the Ministry for cultural assets and activities and for tourism, to bring in the days of the emergency, into the homes of all Italians, a large digital offer of video, textual and iconographic content dedicated to culture, entertainment, information and teaching.

Thousands of hours of entertainment and knowledge available to everyone, free of charge, on all the websites of Luce-Cinecittà, now that spectators and visitors do not have access to places of culture.

On the  Historical Archive one of the largest visual archives on the planet, viewers can attend every field of knowledge: cinema, arts, history, politics, sports, current affairs.
