The best to experience and discover on Garda and Sirmione in the new volume of the famous Lonely Planet guide

Among the rich offer of tourist guides dedicated to Lake Garda, the recent publication of Lago di Garda Pocket stands out, a new volume published by Lonely Planet, the famous Australian publishing house that distributes tourist guides all over the world.

The volume suggests places to see, museums, churches, monuments and pays particular attention to outdoor experiences: cycle routes, trekking, and water-related activities. There is no shortage of information on hotels, local cuisine, wineries, shopping, beaches and many other evocative and cultural routes.

The guide also offers eight “not to be missed” tours, with the unmissable archaeological area of the Grotte di Catullo in first place, and in the Castles and fortresses section the Scaligero Castle of Sirmione, which, as is also the case with other guides, makes a fine show of himself on the cover of the volume.
