Menhir of Friendship and Peace

The monument, created by the artist Giuseppe Bongiorno, highlights the evidence left on the stone by two different and ancient civilizations of our country: that of Salento and that of Val Camonica. The work recalls the evidence of technical (stone) and cultural (inscriptions) factors that unite peoples in art and culture. The menhir is a request for peace and friendship between peoples and for a peaceful future for generations to come.
