An afternoon to paint: huge success for the “Pesci in Acqua…rello” workshop

Brushes, colours and the fauna of Lake Garda took centre stage on Saturday 19 September 2026 at the Casa del Pescatore, in Punta Grò, marking the great success of “Pesci in Acqua… rello“, the art workshop that brought the Casa del Pescatore, in Punta Grò, to life on Saturday 19 September 2026. It was a wonderful day, with wide participation from people of all ages: many children, teenagers and young people got creatively involved, painting together the fish that inhabit the waters of Lake Garda.

The workshop was coordinated by illustrator Renata Barilli, who guided participants in the art of watercolour painting, teaching everyone — even complete beginners — the secrets of this technique. There was also no shortage of moments of scientific discovery, thanks to Silvia Brentegani of the Talata Sub Association and fisherman Domenico Tosi, who took part during the afternoon: their stories allowed participants to get to know the lake and its fish life up close, combining the artistic experience with a moment of insight into the local area.

The day was also made possible by Sirmione Servizi, with its assistance, and by the beautiful setting of the Casa del Pescatore, which provided a striking backdrop for the initiative.

An important contribution also came from Fabriano, which supported part of the initiative as part of the “Fabriano All Around 2026” Drawing Festival, providing the paper used by participants.
