The Holocaust: voices from the past and glances from the present

On the occasion of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day , 4 students attending high school tell us about the emotions of their journey through history.
Rossella Scairato, Matteo Fumagalli, Francesco Vanni and Francesca Boletti participated in a journey that led them to some of the places symbol of the immense and unspeakable tragedy: Dachau next to Munich, the Mauthausen camp and Hatheim Castle near Linz and the Foiba di Basovizza in Trieste.

The Holocaust Memorial is a memorial located in Berlin, designed by the architect Peter Eisenman, together with the engineer Buro Happold, to commemorate the victims of the Shoah. The Memorial is made up of a field of 2,711 steles and welcomes more than 500,000 visitors from every nation to the Information Center every year.
