The islands of Lake Garda

Lake Garda has five islands, distributed along its shores.

The largest is the Isola del Garda or Isola Borghese near the town of San Felice del Benaco; it is privately owned and has a beautiful neo-Gothic-Venetian villa and Italian gardens.

The Isola di San Biagio or Isola dei Conigli (Rabbit Island), in Manerba del Garda, is accessible by taxi-boat service and has a beach and areas to enjoy the shade.

The other three islands are on the eastern shore, near Malcesine, and are popular with divers: the Isola dell’Olivo (Olive Island), Isola del Sogno (Dream Island) and the Isola di Trimelone.
