Lido delle Bionde beach

Lido delle bionde a Sirmione

The Lido delle Bionde beach is located in a romantic cove between hotel Villa Cortine’s park and the remains of the Roman villa; it is within walking distance of the historic town centre.

This delightful beach overlooks clear emerald and sky-blue waters, surrounded by terraces with shady olive groves and backed by the high cliffs on which the Grotte di Catullo (Grottoes of Catullus) stand: the name comes from the word “biunda”, which means “enclosed place”.

The beach is free of charge and has free showers, a bar and restaurant. It is not equipped with sports facilities, but has pedal boats, canoe, sup and sun beds, which can be booked in advance by sending an email the day before to info@lidodellebionde.it. Toilets are available for euro 0.50 and they are also suitable for the disabled. Dogs are allowed.

It is not possible to camp or light fires on the beach.
