Sant’Anna della Rocca church
Built in the middle of the 14th century, this small church dedicated to St Anne of the Rock initially served the small community around the castle and was called Santa Maria del Ponte (saint Mary of the bridge).
It was decorated with a cross vault in the 15th century, and then embellished with votive frescoes in the 16th century and in the 17th century a barrel-vaulted room was added in front of it. It houses a precious effigy of the Madonna and Child, painted on stone and bearing the Scaligero coat of arms.
