Before the exhibition opens to the public, there’s a moment when the walls fill up, photographs find their place, and details take shape. The exhibition is nearing its final cut: the story it tells gradually emerges, and each element finds its place.
“WOUND | FERITA” invites us to observe the landscape with a fresh perspective, raising questions about the relationship between humanity and nature, the memory of places, and the traces our actions leave on the environment. This journey combines the power of images with an exhibition designed to guide the visitor in this reflection.
The exhibition brings together the winning photographs of the 16th edition of the Sirmione Photography Award along with a selection of participating images, which find their space here, bringing new perspectives and new stories. It will be open at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions from July 18th to November 8th 2026.
