If trees could speak: young photographers discover the trees and plants of Sirmione
The winners of the TEENS Photo Marathon 2026 and the gallery of all the photographs entered into the competition.

On Sunday 19th April Sirmione was the stage for the second edition of the TEENS Photo Marathon.
4 hours to observe the very long times of nature.
The themes of the TEENS Photo Marathon, Harmony e Street Children, were inspired by the trees of Magnum Photos photographers in the exhibition If Trees Could Speak,
It wasn’t just a thrilling competition, but an exercise in empathy.
The young photographers demonstrated that, if you look with your heart as well as your lens, trees truly have a lot to tell.
There were numerous prizes up for grabs in both categories (ages 13 and under and 14–17), both for the winners of the individual themes and for the top three overall.
This year, New Free Photo and FujiFilm, among others, are supporting the Teens Photo Marathon, providing photographic equipment to reward young talents and encourage their creativity. All the winners will meet in Sirmione on July 3rd to participate in “Fotografi di Scena,” a photography workshop at the Grotte di Catullo.
