Mercato contadino a Sirmione
Opening Wednesday 15th February, 10:00 am in Piazza Virgilio with tasting of typical products
The new Sirmione farmer’s market will open on Wednesday 15 February 2023 at 10:00 am.
The market will be held every Wednesday, from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, in Piazza Virgilio, in front of the Terme.
This is a new opportunity for the citizens of Sirmione to get to know and buy the best of farm products, including organic ones, in the provinces of Brescia, Mantua and Verona: seasonal fruit and vegetables, cow’s milk, goat’s and buffalo cheeses, oil and wines , bakery and gastronomy products, fresh pasta, poultry, pork and beef, honey, beer, mushrooms, fish, eggs, flowers and citrus plants, aromatic plants and essential oils.
The farmer’s market, organized in collaboration with the Agriculture and Typical Products Commission, protects biodiversity, is a place for the food community to meet and exchange, promotes a conscious consumption, with information and recipes on how to cook the products of the countryside present market. Knowing agricultural producers allows you to rediscover contact with the territory, with real agriculture and with the seasons.
Farmer’s market

All those present will be offered a tasting of products and a farmer’s breakfast with bread, salami and wine.
