Closure of the Peschiera del Garda toll booth
The toll booth will be closed first completely and then partially
A4 Autostrada Brescia-Padova informs that, due to the construction work for the High Speed/High Capacity Milan-Venice line, the Peschiera del Garda toll booth has been closed, first completely and then partially, for a period of approximately 24 days, from Friday 10 January to Wednesday 5 February 2025.
The closure will follow several phases as follows:
- Total closure of the toll booth: from 10:00 p.m. on Friday 10 January to 10:00 p.m. on Sunday 19 January
- Opening of the entrance ramps for Milan and Venice: from 10:00 p.m. on Sunday 19 January
- Opening of the exit ramp from Venice: from 10:00 p.m. on Sunday 26 January
- Opening of the exit ramp from Milan and total reopening of the toll booth: from 10:00 p.m. on Wednesday 5 February
During the period of total closure, and subsequently in accordance with the gradual reopenings, travelers will be able to use the Sommacampagna or Sirmione toll booths as an alternative.
Below are the alternative routes recommended from A4 Autostrada Brescia-Padova and the relative distances:
Sirmione toll booth – Peschiera del Garda
- Alternative road (SR11) – 9.3 km
Sommacampagna toll booth – Peschiera del Garda
- Alternative road 1 (SR11) – 16.3 km
- Alternative road 2 (SR249) – 18.2 km
Travelers will be accompanied by special signs along the alternative routes identified with the aim of allowing traffic flow to resume the motorway route with the least inconvenience and with the least safety risks.
