People of the Lake
Pictures of daily life in the Pearl of Garda.
“A country means not being alone, knowing that there is something of yours in the people, in the plants, in the earth and that even when you are not there, it remains waiting for you”
Cesare Pavese
Opening on Saturday 8th February at 11 am
Sirmione is unique.
It is unique thanks to those who have built, lived and loved it over the centuries.
Sirmione is its inhabitants and those who spend their daily lives here.
The PEOPLE OF THE LAKE exhibition makes us the protagonists, we are the ones who buy bread here, take the children to school, work and shakes hands with the parish priest…
This is an en exhibition that wants to be an acknowledgment of Sirmione at its truest and most authentic; a Sirmione that reveals not only its brightest and most fascinating image, but also its most genuine, kind and profound human face.
