Marco Fratini, a physician and long-distance swimmer, will complete the entire Lake Garda round trip by swimming: 147 kilometers of non-stop open water swimming in 60 hours.
The start is set on Friday, September 8, at 6 a.m. from Salò: Fratini will swim parallel to the coast, keeping about 150 meters from land and proceeding counterclockwise.
The event aims to raise funds for AISM, Italian Multiple Sclerosis Association.
The passage to Sirmione is scheduled for Friday, September 8, at about 5:30 p.m. under the bridge accessing the Old Town.
