121 photographers participated in the third week of the Block Notes Photo Contest and the winning shot for the third theme is that of Carlo Cattaneo (Bregnano)

The jury’s comment on the winning photo:
“As in most cases in photography, clarity of intent and simplicity of execution pay off, indeed.
The idea is clear and well-represented, as is the essence of the proposed theme, which is immediately clear; the composition is clean and balanced, the lighting well-chosen and pleasing.
Overall, a well-crafted, effective, and very pleasing shot.”

The Block Notes Photo Contest, with a four-week journey spanning four themes, invited photographers to explore nature through its fundamental forces: energy, transformation, and balance.

EARTH (Monday, April 27th to Sunday, May 3rd, 2026)
WATER (Monday, May 4th to Sunday, May 10th, 2026)
AIR (Monday, May 11th to Sunday, May 17th, 2026)
FIRE (Monday, May 18th to Sunday, May 24th, 2026)

We’ve reached the fourth and final week of the Contest, with the theme: FIRE, and photographers will have time to submit their photographs by 11:59 PM on Sunday, May 24th.
Each week, the jury will evaluate a single photograph, while at the end of the four weeks, the sequence of four images will be evaluated. Therefore, it will also be necessary to pay attention to the stylistic coherence and narrative coordination of the four photographs..
