Christmas Markets and Nativity Scenes around the Lake
Many Christmas market stalls are set up around the lake, including the Christmas Market in Lazise and Christmas among the olive trees in Garda; these events are held in the historic town centres and against the beautiful backdrop of the lakefronts.
For anyone who enjoys the atmosphere of religious festivities, there are surprisingly detailed nativity scenes installed in the unique setting of the lake: the Nativity Scene on the canal in Desenzano harbour, the underwater Nativity Scene in Peschiera del Garda, the mechanical Nativity Scene in Manerba del Garda, the floating Nativity Scene in Malcesine, and the Nativity Scene set up in Cassone at the source of the River Aril.
