Theresa May has once again accepted the Mayor’s invitation and has returned again this year to visit the exhibition dedicated to Maria Callas by the Magnum Photos photographer, Cristina de Middel, at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions.

In the halls of LEGATO and STACCATO, Homage to Maria Callas, the former British prime minister particularly appreciated the theatrical settings, the introductory set-up and the way in which Cristina de Middel, with her videos, managed to transport the visitor into the 5 worlds of Maria Callas and the tragic heroines she played: Medea, Butterfly, Traviata, Tosca, Norma.

To accompany Theresa May and her husband the mayor Luisa Lavelli.

At the end of the visit, the former prime minister said goodbye to Luisa Lavelli, asking for some previews of next year’s exhibition.
