Reopening of the Municipal Library
From Monday 28 October loans, services and activities for the public will resume
The seismic improvement and fire safety adaptation works of the Sirmione Municipal Library have been completed.
On Monday 28 October 2024, as scheduled, the library will reopen with its usual hours:
- Monday: 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Tuesday: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Wednesday: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Thursday: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Friday: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 2:30 PM to 6:30 PM
- Saturday: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
The interventions, carried out in line with the most recent regulations, have made the facility safer for all citizens and staff who use it daily. Starting from Monday, October 28, all services will resume regularly, including the loan and return of books, the book locker, the book crossing and the external box for returns.
The Library’s cultural activities will also resume on site. The reading groups of the Sirmione Book Club, the Club del Gomitolo and the Italian Course for Foreigners will return to their usual spaces, continuing to offer moments of culture and socialization for all participants.
