On Saturday 21 June 2025, in the splendid setting of Giamaica Beach, the ceremony for the awarding of the Blue Flag 2025 took place: a prestigious international recognition that rewards the environmental quality and the commitment of Sirmione for sustainable development.
Among the authorities present, Giorgio Maione, Regional Councilor for the Environment and Climate, Luisa Lavelli, Mayor of Sirmione, S.T.V. Captain CP Silvio Bertolozzi of the Coast Guard and Flora Berizzi, Director of the Archaeological Area of the Grotte di Catullo and the Sirmione Museum, who welcomed the participants in this place rich in history and charm.
The ceremony ended with the solemn moment of the flag raising, amid applause and the pride of the community.
