A season full of initiatives opens in Sirmione for photography and Lake Garda lovers
Among the protagonists of this autumn season, within the Imago@Catullo exhibition, hosted by the Hotel Catullo, we find important names such as Michele Smargiassi, who will delve into the work of Sebastiao Salgado and Marc De Tollenaere, known for his intimate and personal photography. Triple appointment with the photographer Stefano Mirabella will hold a talk on street photography, portfolio reading and photographic outing.
As part of the Sirmione Photo Residency, the contributions of the new resident photographer, Mattia Marzorati, stand out, who will discuss his projects at the Hotel Catullo, and the presentation of Simona Ghizzoni’s book together with the photographic project of the Sirmione Photo Residency 2023, with Ghizzoni herself in dialogue with Roberta Valtorta.
The Sirmione Photo Marathon and Lake Garda Photo Challenge competitions offer two opportunities for photography enthusiasts and experts to immortalize the beauty of Sirmione and Lake Garda. A WORLD IN A BAG, the exhibition created with the shots of the 2023 edition of the Sirmione Photography Prize, continues until November 3 at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions.

Marc De Tollenaere mostrerà alcuni progetti in cui è riuscito ad andare oltre a una soglia di solito proibita e anche un progetto completamente inedito a cui sta lavorando e non ancora terminato.
