Pietra&Co. 2025: A new chapter of art and beauty is completed.

The public art initiative in Sirmione was a great success: a catalogue was presented and new works were bequeathed to the city

Sirmione proudly marks the conclusion of the 2025 edition of PIETRA&Co. – Identità nel rumore e nel silenzio, a public art project carried out in collaboration with the Consorzio Marmisti Bresciani, which transformed the town into an open-air museum. The artistic journey, which began in June and concluded in recent weeks, involved dozens of artists and successfully connected art and territory through marble and stone sculptures, installations, video art, performances, and events.

In 2025, Sirmione once again confirms its commitment to contemporary art and its support for artists—an ongoing dedication that over the years has generated a virtuous cycle of beauty, relationships, trust, and collaboration. As a sign of the ever-stronger bond between Sirmione and the artists participating in the exhibition, several of them have once again chosen to donate their works to the Municipality of Sirmione for permanent display. This gesture reflects the gratitude, dialogue, and mutual appreciation fostered through PIETRA&Co., and contributes to the creation of a lasting path of widespread contemporary art in Sirmione.

The following works were donated to the Municipality of Sirmione at the end of the 2025 edition:

  • Mama by Anna Gabbiani – Via XXV Aprile (sculpture)
  • L’albero dell’intento by Roberta Susy Rambotti – Casa del Pescatore, Punta Grò (sculpture)
  • Haven by Tiziano Ronchi – Casa del Pescatore, Punta Grò (installation)

These new installations join the works donated at the end of the 2024 edition of PIETRA&Co., which inaugurated the permanent project:

  • Lapis Sapientum by Johannes Pfeiffer – Casa del Pescatore, Punta Grò (installation)
  • Untitled by Franco Ghirardi – Casa del Pescatore, Punta Grò (sculpture)
  • Inno alla Gioia by Lillo Marciano – Municipal Library (installation)
  • AUTOSTORICIZZAZIONE by Lillo Marciano – Municipal Library (installation)
  • Kiss… Please by Lillo Marciano – Panoramic Terrace, Spiaggia delle Muse (installation)
  • Comizio d’amore by Franco Ghirardi – Palazzo Callas Exhibitions (sculpture)
  • Culla, alla fine della notte by Franco Ghirardi – Palazzo Callas Exhibitions (sculpture)

The Municipality of Sirmione and the Consorzio Marmisti Bresciani look ahead, ready to continue along this solid path of collaboration and creativity for the upcoming editions of Pietra&Co., with the hope that art will remain a driving force for beauty, connection, and renewal within the community.

During the finissage of the exhibition, held on 19 November at Hotel Sirmione, the official catalogue of the show was also presented: a volume that brings together artworks, photographs, critical essays, and reflections, offering a rich and collective account of this significant cultural experience.
