The most beautiful race in the world is back in Sirmione
The colorful caravan of the 1000 Miglia race will pass on Saturday 19th June
Saturday 19th June 2021 the most famous and important regularity race for vintage cars returns to Sirmione.
The first cars arrive at 12:00 am with the Ferrari Tribute to 1000 Miglia race, the parade of sports cars that will anticipate the passage of the historic cars in the race.
The transit of historic cars will begin at 1.45 pm, preceded by the passage of the 1000 Miglia Green cars, reserved for electric ones.
The cars will arrive from Peschiera del Garda, they will head towards the historic center passing through piazza Unità d’Italia, via Colombare and via XXV Aprile.
In Piazzale Porto, in front of the Scaligero Castle, the time control and the turning point.
Traffic changes:
Piazzale Porto and the first part of Lungolago Diaz will be completely closed to traffic from midnight on Friday 18 June to 8:00 am on Saturday 19th June.
Via Todeschino will not be accessible from 12:00am on Saturday 19th June towards Piazza Unità d’Italia starting from Via Alfieri to avoid entering the flow of cars in the race.
The traffic coming from Peschiera will be diverted to via 1866, while that coming from Desenzano will be diverted to via the European Community.
The only viable access road to the historic center will be viale Matteotti and via Bagnera.
Lugana can be accessed via via San Martino.
