Blue Flag resorts remind that every drowning is preventable: there are solutions
25 July is World Drowning Prevention Day.
It is a WHO initiative that follows the April 2021 UN Resolution and aims to highlight the tragic and profound impact of drowning and offer life-saving prevention strategies.

This year in Italy, all #BandieraBlu locations dedicated the day to raising awareness and providing information on the need to prevent drowning, through meetings with institutions and operators, demonstrations on beach safety and first aid, and workshops for children.
