Tourism as a value and historical memory of a territory
Meeting with Patrick Gasser, former coordinator of the Touriseum of Merano (in Italian only)

As part of the Narrative the work of the Brescia Est Library System, in collaboration with Abibook and Fondazione Cariplo, Patrick Gasser will address the theme of tourism as the identity of a territory and bearer of values that become the heritage of a community.

Patrick Gasser graduated in History and Communication at the University of Innsbruck. Until January 2023 he was coordinator of the Touriseum, the South Tyrolean Tourism Museum in Merano. He is the author of several publications on the history of Alpine tourism, creator of several exhibitions and ambassador of South Tyrolean taste. He works in the fruit-viticulture sector and deals with the communication of products and the territory.
