Guided tour for free

On the occasion of the Landscape’s national day on 14th March, Polo Museale della Lombardia wants to celebrate this important occasion offering visitors a free guided tour of the Grottoes of Catullus and the Scaligero’s Castle in Sirmione. Participants will be accompanied in search of the elements that characterize the landscape of the Sirmione peninsula, the result of the action of natural, anthropogenic factors and their interrelations: from the remains of the Villa Romana, to the system of medieval fortifications. Visitors will have the opportunity to discover the two museums in a different and original perspective that will lead them to know the mutual interactions between archeology, architecture and landscape.

The admission fee (for both museum) is required (12€ per person) and the reservation is mandatory by March 11th, 2019 at the following email address: pm-lom.didattica@beniculturali.it
