Franco Mazzotti Cup
Historical car race that takes place in the province of Brescia, birthplace of the Mille Miglia race
The Franco Mazzotti Cup is one of the most important historical car races in Italy and it is dedicated to the memory of one of the founding members of the Mille Miglia race, “the most beautiful race in the world”.
The Route of the thirteenth edition, in two steps, will be held in Brescia with passages by Lake Idro, Lake Valvestino,
Lake Garda, Franciacorta, and finishes in Iseo, on the lake of the same name.
The technical and sporting checks (or punching, as it was called at the time) will be Friday night and Saturday morning in Brescia at the Mille Miglia Museum, where the race will start on Saturday 3rd October.
The first part of the race will cross the Val Sabbia and Valvestino, lunch will be served near Lake Idro.
The arrival of the first stage, with dinner and overnight stay, will be in Sirmione.
Traffic changes in Sirmione
Piazzale Porto and the first part of Lungolago Diaz will be closed to traffic from 12:00 p.m. of Friday 1st October to 12:00 p.m. of Sunday 3rd October.
