The maintenance work on the Scaliger bridge has been completed

After a demanding and complex repair and maintenance operation, the access bridge to the historic center of Sirmione has returned to its original appearance. The delicate artifact required particularly accurate and careful work, under the direct control of the Brescia Archeology Superintendence, with the aim of preserving its integrity and guaranteeing its longevity.

Thanks to the maintenance work, the bridge has returned to its full functionality: boats can once again pass under the arch while tourists and residents can fully appreciate the unique and fascinating scenery that the bridge offers.

Upon completion of the maintenance work, an intervention scheduled for the night between 14 and 15 July, will give the bridge a new wooden plank.
