With the Andy Warhol exhibition, the Tate Modern in London dedicates the largest retrospective in over 20 years to one of the most iconic figures in 20th century art.

The Andy Warhol exhibition collects over 100 works that tell the entire career of the father of Pop Art, reflecting on how his research has influenced not only art, but also the thought and society of his time.
No artist was able to embody the contradictions of the United States in the 1960s like him.
Brilliant and versatile, Andy Warhol has managed to transform into images the most varied aspects of American culture (consumerism, celebrity, popular counterculture). He made Coca-Cola Cans, Campbell Soup Cans and Marilyn Monroe portraits, just to mention the best-known icons and symbols of America in the second half of the 20th century.

The exhibition is organized by Tate Modern, in partnership with Andy Warhol Foundation for the Visual Arts.
