The lake calls, the swimmers answer! Swimtheisland ignites the challenge in the most fascinating waters of Garda.
On Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 June 2025, Sirmione hosts the most evocative open water swimming race on Lake Garda: an opportunity to test yourself and share an engaging experience in a setting of great charm.
The first races will start on Saturday 21 June at 11:30 with the KID’sTHEISLAND, dedicated to the youngest swimmers. In the afternoon there will be two FAMILY and TEAM races, at 13:00 and 14:30. The evening appointment with the SUNSET SWIM – 1500 meters at sunset – starting at 20:30 is highly anticipated, followed by the convivial Pirlo Party that will close the first day.
On Sunday 22 the spotlight will be on the 3200 meters of the CLASSIC SWIM, one of the most intense challenges of the entire weekend.

Swimtheisland Sirmione is a historic event for the Italian and international community of open water swimming created by TriO Events with the patronage of the Lombardy Region, the Province of Brescia and the Municipality of Sirmione.
As regards logistics and traffic, the only areas involved in the event will be within the Historic Center of Sirmione with the race village on Spiaggia delle Muse and the athlete accreditation point on Via San Salvatore. Therefore, no changes to traffic or parking are planned.
