Immerse yourself in an explosion of colors among expanses of tulips, floating flowerbeds and breathtaking views, Parco Giardino Sigurtà, one of the most prestigious gardens in Europe, transforms into a true paradise for photography and nature lovers.

This photographic outing is the first of four meetings, scheduled from May to October 2025, led by professional photographers Roberto Bellini and Antonello Perin and held with the patronage of the Municipality of Sirmione.

The appointment at Parco Giardino Sigurtà will be dedicated to natural landscape photography, with a particular focus on the spectacular spring blooms and the possibility of creating suggestive close-ups of the flora. In this season the Park is transformed thanks to the extraordinary flowering of thousands of tulips, daffodils and hyacinths, offering ever new and fascinating scenarios, perfect to immortalize in every detail.

The initiative is open to all photography enthusiasts, even those who use a smartphone equipped with a good camera.

What to bring:

• Comfortable clothing for excursions on meadows
• Camera with wide-angle, normal and telephoto lenses or
• Smartphone with a quality camera
• Tripod and photographic filters (optional)
• Charged and spare batteriesA good knowledge of your photographic medium is recommended to optimize time and focus on creativity.

The 4 photo trips 2025:

• MAY – Sigurtà Garden Park: landscape and spring blossoming
• JULY – Mantua lakes by boat: lotus flowers
• SEPTEMBER – Piovere waterfall, upper Garda lake: natural landscape
• OCTOBER – Verona from the Cathedral bell tower and the terrace of Castel San Pietro: exclusive climb

The teachers:

Roberto Bellini, a photographer from Sirmione, agrees with Annie Leibovitz about photography, who wrote: “You never stop looking. You never stop framing. There is no switch to turn it on and off. It is always on”

Antonello Perin, also a photographer from Sirmione, was inspired in his career by Ugo Mulas: “A photo must be good, not beautiful. Because a beautiful photo can be technically fine, pleasant, but it can tell nothing. A good photo can be blurry and out of focus, but it tells a story, it speaks. The important thing is to take good photos”.
