Tulips in Sirmione

Sirmione is getting ready for the return of summer with the magnificent blooms in the numerous flowerbeds of the peninsula, also this year enriched by prestigious tulips.

“These 30.000 tulip bulbs are integrated in the annual planting that usually includes over 10.000 essences in spring and as many in autumn, into a path of care and attention for our territory that requires constant maintenance” – comments the councilor for public works Roberto Campagnola. “Tulips in Sirmione fully becomes part of the offer that every year we work hard to provide to residents, tourists and visitors, creating an energy of colors released by these beautiful flowers.”

“We are delighted with this collaboration with the pearl of Lake Garda, Sirmione” – declared Giuseppe Sigurtà, curator of Tulips in Sirmione – “To take part in this project is an honor and I believe that thanks to this initiative, residents and tourists can admire a taste of the beauty of tulips by the lake. The blooms of Sirmione are connected to other important tulip blooms coordinated by the Sigurtà Garden Park, in particular those of the park itself and of other locations on the lake.”

The tulip flowerbeds were designed by Giuseppe Sigurtà, winner of the Best Tulip Festival of the Year 2022, also thanks to the flowering complex that he curated last year between Sirmione and other towns nearby. The blooms that color the flowerbeds in Viale Marconi in Sirmione become again this year an unmissable event for lovers of flowers and photography.
