Theresa May welcomed with pleasure the invitation to visit the exhibition “La voce delle mani – Maria Callas and the Italians” opened in Sirmione. Former British Prime Minister was fascinated and kidnapped by the shots of Magnum Photos photographers Cristina de Middel and Richard Kalvar, lingering for a long time in the halls of Palazzo Callas.
Accompanying May and her husband to discover the gestures of Maria Callas and the Italians were Mayor Luisa Lavelli, Deputy Mayor Mauro Carrozza, the artistic director of the exhibition Mariangela Gavioli and the head of the culture office in Sirmione, Giorgio Bettini.
