Sirmione: “signature” beach
Martin Parr has chosen a photo of Sirmione for the special edition of Magnum Photos' Square Print Sale
Magnum Photos launches a new edition of Square Print Sale, the special event in which the photo agency offers signature prints from its most renowned photographers at affordable prices but for a limited period of time.
A precious opportunity for collectors and photography lovers to purchase works by world-famous artists at more accessible prices than the normal market.
The image chosen by Martin Parr for this edition of Square Print Sale is part of the series of shots taken by the English photographer in Sirmione in 1999. The photograph is on display together with others taken on Lake Garda and in various countries around the world at the LIFE’S A BEACH exhibition in Sirmione at Palazzo Callas until 30 June 2024.

I was working on Lake Garda, and I went to Sirmione and everything fell into place, it’s one of those days you dream about.
