Sirmione dresses in color: 46,000 tulips in bloom amidst nature and wonder
The village is transformed into a garden spread between the historic center and the lakeside

Over 46,000 tulips in bloom, a path through the historic center, Lungolago Diaz, and Viale Marconi: this is how the Municipality of Sirmione welcomes the Easter holidays by transforming itself into a large garden overlooking the lake. These are the numbers and distinctive features of ““Tulipani a Sirmione 2026,” the project that redesigns some of the village’s most iconic areas with an explosion of color and harmony, leading residents and visitors on an immersive experience of nature, architecture, and landscape.
The initiative, realized with the design contribution of Parco Giardino Sigurtà, renews a long-standing and valuable collaboration. The flowerbeds have been redesigned and the varieties selected to ensure progressive flowering throughout the spring, thanks also to the inclusion of early and late species.
Among the species used, tulips such as Mentone and Renown stand out, alongside other ornamental varieties such as Alliums, which further enrich the composition. Also of particular note is the “Manu” daffodil, granted exclusively to Sirmione: a distinctive element that testifies to a historic and trusting collaborative relationship.
“This year too,” commented Sirmione Mayor Luisa Lavelli, “our village will shine with new colors and shades thanks to a solid and valuable synergy with Count Giuseppe Sigurtà. The green areas,” the mayor continued, “are enriched with light and enchantment, offering residents, guests, and visitors an experience that will amaze and soothe, inviting them to experience the renewed beauty of Sirmione every day.”
Tulipani a Sirmione thus confirms itself not just as a floral display, but as an invitation to experience the village in the season of rebirth, when spring expresses its maximum intensity.
