Sirmione blooms in autumn too
Thanks to the collaboration with the Sigurtà Garden Park, 500 out-of-season tulips light up the Castle with colors
In the heart of autumn, Sirmione is ablaze with the colors of spring! For a few more days, the flowerbeds of the Scaligero Castle will host an extraordinary bloom of approximately 500 tulips of the Triumph and Parrot varieties, offering residents and visitors a unique and evocative spectacle.
The initiative, which continues the collaboration with Count Giuseppe Sigurtà and the Sigurtà Garden Park, has made this exceptional autumn bloom possible thanks to an innovative cultivation technique that allows the tulips to bloom out of season. The result is a symphony of colors that brings new emotions to the village.
“Sirmione is a place that harmoniously combines nature and beauty: seeing it bloom even in autumn is a great feeling,” comments Giuseppe Sigurtà, creator of this innovative botanical treatment. Mayor Luisa Lavelli also expressed satisfaction, emphasizing: “The collaboration with Parco Sigurtà, undoubtedly a center of excellence in the tulip field, has allowed us to experience an autumnal bloom, the fruit of research and passion, which blends beautifully with the beauty of our land, enhancing its value.”
The event follows the success of the spring bloom of 45,000 tulips that inaugurated the Sirmione tourist season last March.
