Resist, adapt, flourish: Behind the scenes of an exhibition coming to life
Images from the "If Trees Could Speak" installation: trees in 100 photographs by the great photographers of Magnum Photos

There are stories you see and others that grow silently, like plants… and like an exhibition.
Between walls still in flux and lights searching for their perfect spot, something special takes shape: the installation of If trees could speak, the exhibition at Palazzo Callas Exhibitions dedicated to trees in 100 photographs by the great photographers of Magnum Photos. A installation that, just like the trees featured in the exhibition, requires patience, adaptation, and strength.
It’s the daily work of the exhibition designers, made up of operational challenges, tight deadlines, and concrete solutions. Like plants that find light even in the most challenging contexts, those who put together this exhibition demonstrate a resilience born of experience and determination.
Meanwhile, something begins to emerge: a detail, a texture, a fragment of an image… small clues that anticipate the atmosphere that awaits you.
The exhibition If trees could speak will be open to the public from March 21 to July 12, 2026, with the following hours:
- Daily 10:30 AM–12:30 PM and 4:30 PM–7:00 PM
- Friday and Saturday 10:30 AM–12:30 PM and 4:30 PM–10:00 PM
- Closed on Mondays, except holidays
