On Sunday, August 31st, at 9:30 PM, the Films on the Beach festival at Punta Grò concludes with a tribute to the great British photographer Martin Parr through the documentary “I Am Martin Parr” directed by Lee Shulman. An intimate and humorous portrait that traces the career of an artist capable of transforming everyday life into images of universal value.

The event has a special significance for Sirmione, which last year dedicated the major photography exhibition LIFE’S A BEACH to Parr. It’s an opportunity to delve deeper into the work of one of the photographers who best captured contemporary society in the unique and evocative setting of Punta Grò.
