The crocodile goes away

After combining hearts and snaps, the pink reptile bids farewell to Sirmione. But it's only a "see you soon"

Published on : 7 November 2025

After a summer of encounters, emotions, and photo opportunities, it’s time to say goodbye.
The dismantling of Pietra&Co. 2025 has begun, and the works that enlivened Sirmione throughout the season are retreating to their lairs, awaiting new artistic adventures.

With the arrival of the cold season, the first to say goodbye could only be him: the large pink crocodile “Colui che unisce” (He Who Unites)” a majestic creation of the Cracking Art collective, who for months has accompanied, watched over, and delighted residents and visitors.

His iconic silhouette is now delicately escorted to his next journey.
Our farewell is filled with gratitude for this guardian who, from the moat of the Scaligero Castle, has succeeded—in his silent artistic way—in uniting visitors, residents, and enthusiasts.

But, as the rhythm of the seasons teaches, an ending is always the prelude to a new beginning.

The mood, therefore, is not one of farewell, but of see you at the next edition of Pietra&Co.
