La guida per una passeggiata nel tempo - A walk through the time
La storia di Sirmione e del Lago di Garda prevede inevitabilmente lo studio della sua formazione geologica: una lingua di terra che si oppose all’erosione e finì per restare circondata dalle acque, dando origine all’attuale penisola e che attira i turisti di tutto il mondo. “Sirmione Geologica. A spasso nel tempo “nasce con l’obiettivo di divulgare la storia geologica di Sirmione e contribuire a far crescere in tutti noi la consapevolezza di dover assumere comportamenti responsabili nei confronti dell’ambiente. I visitatori potranno percorrere con occhio diverso le strade di Sirmione: oltre a poter ammirare il Castello Scaligero, le Grotte di Catullo e l’intramontabile bellezza paesaggistica, sapranno riconoscere anche ciò che si cela sotto la superfice su cui si erige il centro abitato fino alla punta estrema della penisola. “Sirmione Geologica. A spasso nel tempo” è un opuscolo in distribuzione presso gli InfoPoint di Sirmione o scaricabile da qui. Il progetto è stato realizzato dalla ProLoco di Sirmione con gli studenti del Liceo Bagatta di Desenzano (a.s 2018/2019) in alternanza scuola-lavoro. Il progetto è stato coordinato della Presidente della ProLoco, Luisella Baccinelli, i Geologi Niccolò Crestana e Giovanni Fasser si sono occupati della formazione geologica degli studenti e della revisione dei testi. Gli studenti (Alina Anjum, Giulio Bella, Sami Hassane, Martina Moschetto, Tiare Elisabeth Prati e Anna Sterza) si sono occupati ideazione ed elaborazione materiale dei testi
The history of Sirmione and Lake Garda inevitably involves the study of its geological formation: a strip of land that resisted erosion and ended up being surrounded by water, giving rise to the current peninsula and attracting tourists from around the world. The idea of this project: "Geological Sirmione. A walk through time" was to divulge the history of Sirmione from a geological point of view and to increase awareness to behave responsibly regarding the environment. Visitors can walk the streets of Sirmione with a different perspective: they can not only admire the Scaligero Castle, the Grottoes of Catullus and the timeless beauty of the landscape, but will also be able to recognize what lies beneath the surface of the town centre up to the very tip of the peninsula. The project was carried out by the ProLoco of Sirmione with the students of Bagatta High School in Desenzano (a.s 2018/2019) as part of a work-related learning project. It was coordinated by the President of ProLoco, Luisella Baccinelli, the Geologists Niccolò Crestana and Giovanni Fasser taught the students about the geology of the area and the revision of the texts. The students (Alina Anjum, Giulio Bella, Sami Hassane, Martina Moschetto, Tiare Elisabeth Prati and Anna Sterza) worked on the preparation and development of the written information
