Sirmione Book Club English: “The Three Hours” by Rosamund Lupton
The English reading group of the Sirmione Library: next meeting on Thursday 10th September 2026

The Sirmione Book Club English is delighted to welcome everyone to a brand-new season of reading, conversation and discovery!
There are plenty of pages to turn, meetings to enjoy and books to discover in the months ahead. And there’s more to come: our special events will be revealed soon, so stay tuned!
Our first book of the new season is The Three Hours by Rosamund Lupton.
The Reading group will meet on Thursday 10th September 2026 at 8 pm, at the Public Library to discuss the novel and discover the next book. Even if you didn’t attend the previous meeting, or read the book, you can always step in to talk about this book.
Free admission
The Sirmione Book Club English, coordinated by Rosemary Williamson, Rosalind Rabbitt, and Ann Davies, offers a welcoming space where readers can connect through their shared passion for books.
Joining is quick and easy. As a member, you’ll have the chance to contribute to lively discussions on selected titles, bringing your own perspective to the table. Every meeting on the calendar is designed to encourage open conversation, where everyone has a voice and can take an active part in exploring the chosen themes.
The Sirmione Book Club English is open to everybody, even though a good English (read and spoken) is needed.
Our English reading group features monthly encounters, organized as follows:
- The Sirmione Book Club English, on uneven months in the Public Library, with books proposed by the coordinators.
- The English Café, held in even months, is a more informal opportunity to share and recommend books. It will take place in a relaxed venue — a pub, bar, hotel or winery in Sirmione — The venue will be announced each time.
