THURSDAY 12TH MARCH 2026, 8:00 PM, PUBLIC LIBRARY

The book of the month of the Sirmione Book Club English is The Thursday Murder Club by Richard Osman.

The Reading Group of the Sirmione Library will meet again on Thursday 12th March 2026 at 8:00 pm, at the Public Library to discuss the novel and discover the next book. Even if you didn’t attend the previous meeting, or read the book, you can always step in to talk about this book.

Free admission, you can book your place

Those who love to read know there is nothing more enjoyable than sharing thoughts about a book you’ve just finished—discussing it, reflecting on it, and exchanging ideas with others who have experienced the same moments of literary pleasure.

The Sirmione Book Club English, coordinated by Rosemary Williamson, Rosalind Rabbitt, and Ann Davies, offers exactly that: a welcoming space where readers can connect through their shared passion for books.

Joining is quick and easy. As a member, you’ll have the chance to contribute to lively discussions on selected titles, bringing your own perspective to the table. Every meeting on the calendar is designed to encourage open conversation, where everyone has a voice and can take an active part in exploring the chosen themes.

The Sirmione Book Club English is open to everybody, even though a good English (read and spoken) is needed.

The meetings will be held every second Thursday of the month, every other month, at 8:00 pm at the “Mario Ferrari” Public Library of Sirmione. In each meeting, the book presented the previous time will be discussed and the book that will be discussed in the next meeting will be revealed.
