SENSIBILIZZARE E INCLUDERE

La fotografia si è imposta storicamente come un efficace strumento di sensibilizzazione, indagando temi di rilevanza sociale. La Sirmione Photo Marathon di quest’anno si rivolge alle tematiche della sensibilità e dell’inclusività.

Tema 1: OSTACOLI

Le nostre città, a causa della presenza di barriere e di impedimenti, diventano spesso un percorso ad ostacoli, soprattutto per persone con disabilità fisiche e limitazioni motorie.

La fotografia deve raffigurare gli ostacoli che possiamo incontrare sul nostro cammino.

Tema 2: SUPERFICI

Le superfici che ci circondano hanno caratteristiche materiali che possono essere percepite da sensi diversi dalla vista, primo fra tutti il tatto. La fotografia deve mettere in evidenza i valori tattili e le caratteristiche materiche delle superfici, proprietà che le rendono adatte ad un tipo di percezione simile a quella del codice Braille.

Photography has historically emerged as an effective tool for raising awareness, investigating issues of social relevance. This year’s Sirmione Photo Marathon addresses issues of sensitivity and inclusiveness.

Theme 1: OBSTACLES

Our cities, due to the presence of barriers and impediments, often become an obstacle course, especially for people with physical disabilities and motor limitations.
The photograph should depict the obstacles we may encounter on our way.

Theme 2: SURFACES

The surfaces that surround us have material characteristics that can be perceived by senses other than sight, first and foremost touch. The photograph should highlight the tactile values and material characteristics of surfaces, properties that make them suitable for a type of perception similar to that of the Braille code.
