The Sirmione Book Club English<\/strong> continues to offer engaging and thought-provoking discussions! The upcoming session will be no exception, focusing on a meaningful and unique travel story sure to inspire participants.<\/p>\n

The next meeting with the special edition of the club, i.e. the English Caf\u00e9<\/strong>, will take place at Hotel Dogana<\/strong> in via Verona 149, Sirmione, on October<\/strong> 10th<\/strong> at 8:00 pm.<\/p>\n

During the evening the participants will discuss the article published by The Guardian:<\/em> “A Lesson in Slow Travel: Walking the Camino de Santiago<\/strong>“. This touching piece recounts the journey of three siblings, one of whom has Down\u2019s syndrome, as they walk the historic pilgrimage route together. The article explores themes of perseverance, family bonds, and the transformative power of slow travel, offering a heartfelt perspective on both physical and emotional journeys.<\/p>\n

The article is available here<\/a><\/strong> for participants who wish to join the discussion. We look forward to another enriching conversation in a beautiful setting!<\/p>\n

The book we are reading for the Sirmione Book Club English<\/strong>, that will be discussed on November 14th<\/strong> at the Public Library, is Flowers for Algernon by Daniel Keyes<\/a><\/strong>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
