A WORLD IN A BAG<\/strong> A trip to Lake Garda<\/strong> is full of emotions and memories. So why not always carry with you the light that reflects in the waters of the lake, the cry of the seagulls, the scent of the honeysuckle, immortalized by the shots of the 14th edition of the Sirmione Award for Photography<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n A World in a Bag<\/strong> is an exhibition like a bag that collects the images of the five photographic competitions that make up the Prize. A World in a Bag<\/strong> is not just a celebration of the beauty of the Lake: it is also a call to sustainability and environmental awareness. Paper bags and cardboard panels, a common material that is often overlooked, become protagonists of a visual dialogue that invites us to reflect on our relationship with the environment and the importance of reducing, reusing and recycling.<\/p>\n Now in its fifteenth edition this year, the Sirmione Award for Photography<\/strong><\/a>, dedicated to Lake Garda, is aimed at enthusiasts and professionals and is organized by the Municipality of Sirmione<\/strong>. It arises from the awareness that images are a universal language, the only one possible in a place of cosmopolitan and international connections like Sirmione.<\/p>\n A World in a Bag<\/strong> will be completed with the winning shots of the Sirmione 10% Photo Marathon: the 60-minute photographic “sprint” scheduled for Sunday 7 July 2024\u00a0from 7.30 to 8.30. \nIn the rooms of Palazzo Callas Exhibitions<\/strong> the walls become the stage for a visual adventure: large paper bags as frames for the images created by the photographers. Not just physical containers, but symbols of travel and discovery, guardians of emotions capable of bringing back memories of happy and significant moments.<\/p>\n
