The magazine “fotografi<\/strong>” publishes an extensive conversation with the American master who traces a long career and a unique vision of street photography.<\/span><\/span> Already the protagonist of a photography workshop in Sirmione in 2022<\/a><\/strong>, which Richard Kalvar<\/strong> himself mentions in the interview, the American photographer talks about his spontaneous approach to photographic art between irony, ambiguity and freedom of interpretation.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“L’ambiguit\u00e0 \u00e8 ci\u00f2 che caratterizza le fotografie di Richard Kalvar che lasciano libero l’osservatore di scegliere la propria personale interpretazione. Richard ha svolto un’intensa attivit\u00e0 affiancando il lavoro su commissione alla ricerca personale. Gli sono state dedicate molte mostre negli Stati Uniti, in Francia, Germania, Spagna e<\/em>
\nItalia e molti libri. I suoi lavori sono apparsi su Geo, Creative Camera, Aperture, Zoom, Newsweek e Photo, e molte altre riviste. Richard \u00e8 entrato in Magnum come membro associato nel 1975 e qui ci racconta quando \u00e8 stato scelto; in seguito ha ricoperto la carica di vicepresidente e di presidente dell’agenzia<\/em><\/p>\n

Le buone foto arrivano solo ogni tanto \u00abCredo che la fotografia di strada sia il genere fotografico pi\u00f9 difficile perch\u00e9 tutto \u00e8 imprevedibile, noi non abbiamo<\/em>
\nalcun controllo di quello che accade. Sappi quindi che ogni volta che scendi in strada lo farai senza la certezza di portare a casa una buona foto\u00bb[…]”.<\/em><\/p>\n
