The 2024 “pink race” on the shores of the lake with the big names of the international cycling<\/em><\/p>\n

The 2024 edition of the Giro d’Italia Women<\/strong> was presented yesterday at Palazzo Pirelli, the historic headquarters of the Lombardy Region.
\nThe route and partners of the 35th edition<\/strong> have been revealed, which will start on 7 July 2024 from Brescia with an individual time trial, before entering the heart of the competition on 8 July 2024 with the start of the first road stage from Sirmione<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

For the first time the pink race will be organized by RCS Mediagroup<\/strong>, publisher of Gazzetta dello Sport<\/strong>, historic organizer of the men’s Giro d’Italia and this represents a great leap in quality for the women’s race.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The conclusion of the tour is expected in L’Aquila<\/strong> after 858<\/strong> kilometres, almost 12 thousand meters of altitude difference, two flat stages, three medium mountain ones and two high mountain ones with two high altitude finishes.<\/span><\/span> The Blockhaus will be the “Cima Alfonsina Strada”, which distinguishes the highest climb of the race, established in memory of the cyclist who took part in the men’s Giro d’Italia of 1924.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n
